Hello Everyone. Lupe, I hope you are feeling better. On Tuesday, Lupe and Yazmin were absent from group discussion. The following are notes from that meeting:
For the Paper, we will use Garamond 12 pt. font to keep the type consistent throughout. On Saturday, each of us will bring his/her own portion of the paper so that we can staple it together.
We have delegated the following tasks for the Presentation:
1. Background: Lupe (if you're feeling up to it on Saturday) - guys, I don't have the name of the member who will give the background in case Lupe can't make it on Saturday.
2. Topic selection criteria: Yazmin
3. Five Features/Three Phases: Sal
4. Technology: Mike
5. Ongoing assessment: Kerri (he is also creating the rubrics for the project)
6. Culminating Activity: Juan
7. Closure: Juan
*CANCELLED: Meeting to finalize showcase: Thursday, June 5 at 4:30 in the Elizabeth Public Library. We should meet early on Saturday to put the finishing touches on the presentation. Can we agree on a time?

Lupe:I can make it there by 8am... I'm staying with my parents who live a few blocks away from School #14

Or do you want me to write something? I've been struggling the last few days. Been staying with my parents where internet is very difficult to get my hands on. (Yes, it's true... There are still people without internet access.) You can also call me (908)370-8777... let me know what I need to do. I feel terrible that I have not been able to work on this. My surgery came at a really inopportune time. I hope you get to read this and get in touch with me.

I have organized the wiki into the two components of the Showcase: the Paper and the Presentation. The 5 Features/3 Phases grid has its own page, as does the Showcase Proposal.
i. The Paper - add your contributions to facilitate writing the paper.
ii. The Presentation - add your ideas for the presentation (a lot of the information is repeated from the Paper)
General Discussion - this page is to create an ongoing conversation with all the group members.
New to wikis? Want to practice editing a page without fear of messing up all our hard work?? Play in the Sandbox! This is a page where you can practice making new pages, setting up external links or links within the wiki, etc.
